El SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 30 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that Airbus North America Engineering (ANAE) has extended and expanded its relationship with CSC by signing a new six-year, $20 million information technology (IT) outsourcing contract. The agreement extends work CSC has performed under a previously unannounced outsourcing contract that began in April 2002.
Under the new agreement, CSC will continue providing IT infrastructure services to ANAE in Wichita, Kan., and will add this support for ANAE in Mobile, Ala. Services include help desk, desktop and midrange support; local area networking; project management; and IT procurement.
The contract extension also contains provisions for the addition of services to other Airbus North America and European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company (EADS) North America businesses and affiliates.
